Bali's rich nature includes beach, surf, jungle and volcanic terrain interspersed with the many Hindu temples that inspired its alias as the 'Island of the Gods'. We have three resorts here: beachfront COMO Uma Canggu, inland COMO Uma Ubud, and COMO Shambhala Estate, a wellness-focused estate to facilitate lasting change.
COMO SHAMBHALA ESTATE
Our award-winning wellness resort near Ubud, Bali, is located in the forest between two mighty rivers, with unique Residences inspired by nature. Choose from room-only accommodations or a full suite of holistic healing with our Wellness Paths, specialising in nutritious cuisine, diagnostics, Ayurvedic treatments, outdoor activities and more.
Our oceanside resort on Bali's south coast is footsteps from the surf. Immerse yourself in the buzzing culture of Canggu, enjoying healthy cuisine and poolside lounging.
Sun-filled villas with private, plant-rimmed pools make you feel like you're in the heart of nature. But you're also in a town, in Bali's arts and culture hub, Ubud.
Mount Batur is an active volcanos between two calderas -- its first eruption was in the year 1804 and its most recent was in 2000. The trek to its highest point (1,717m) is a popular and accessible one, particularly to catch the sunrise. For thrill-seekers, there is also the option to freewheel from the edge of its crater to the village below.
Location
ULUWATU TEMPLE
Uluwatu Temple is one of Bali's most spectacular locations to catch the sunset or watch a 'kecak' dance. It is built on top of a steep cliff 70m above sea level, with a black palm-frond roof and a sanctum perched right at the edge of the drop-off. Legend has it that a Hindu priest was struck by lightning and disappeared while worshipping one last time here.
